Hermann Josef Runggalder: Suspended Time
Solo Exhibition: iSculpture Art Gallery San Gimignano | July 21-August 18 , 2018
Opening: July, 21th 2018, 6 p.m.
iSculpture Art Gallery is pleased to present the solo exhibition “Suspended Time” by Hermann Josef Runggaldier, which will be held in our venue in San Gimignano.
“The artist tries to grasp moments and situations in which both those observed, the future subjects of his sculptures, and he himself are waiting, at the airport for instance. He studies them meticulously, observing the attitudes, postures and facial expressions of these oblivious, anonymous actors. These are ordinary, everyday scenes, in which the characters are simply living their day-to-day lives, without posing in any way. The artist isn’t even noticed and never crosses the boundaries of the personal sphere.”
The exhibition catalogue will be available for the opening on Saturday July 21 at 6 p.m. Exhibition’s catalogue is available: Browse it online!
We will be glad to welcome You,

Alessandro Cardinale: NuShu
Solo Exhibition: iSculpture Gallery San Gimignano | June 2-30 , 2018
Opening: June the second 2018, 6 p.m.
iSculpture Gallery is pleased to present the solo exhibition “Nu shu” by Alessandro Cardinale, which will be held in our venue in San Gimignano.
“This series of works bears the name of a secret female code which dates back to Imperial China, borrowing its spirit, poetics and yearning for freedom. The Nu Shu, invented by women with no formal education, aimed to strengthen the sense of sisterhood between those subjected to abuse and unbearable subordination.”
The exhibition catalogue will be available for the opening on Saturday June, the second at 6 p.m..

iSculpture Gallery is pleased to present the solo exhibition “Journey into synthesis”by Wilhelm Heiliger that will be held at the headquarters in San Gimignano (SI). The Catalogue, printed by the Gallery, will be presented during the opening.
iSculpture Gallery is pleased to offer its spaces to Wilhelm’s real yet fantastic works. We could ask ourselves what induces a gallery which deals exclusively with sculptures to present works that are apparently so far-removed from its usual proposal. The answer to this question lies in the desire to emphasise the importance of the relationship between shape and colour, concepts which are an absolute part of sculpture. The gallery also wants to open up to other forms of expression, to which alternative projects will be regularly dedicated in the future, highlighting once again the absolute non-existence of boundaries to beauty and art.
Opening on October the first at 6.00 p.m. with the presence of the artist.
Press release here!
Some months ago we visited the exhibition “HUMAN”, over one hundred works by Antony Gormley in Florence’s 16th century fortress, Forte di Belvedere. Sculptures are positioned throughout the interior and courtyards to occupy every part of the Forte, positioned to resonate with the building’s scale and mass.
