Hermann Josef Runggalder: Suspended Time
Solo Exhibition: iSculpture Art Gallery San Gimignano | July 21-August 18 , 2018
Opening: July, 21th 2018, 6 p.m.
iSculpture Art Gallery is pleased to present the solo exhibition “Suspended Time” by Hermann Josef Runggaldier, which will be held in our venue in San Gimignano.
“The artist tries to grasp moments and situations in which both those observed, the future subjects of his sculptures, and he himself are waiting, at the airport for instance. He studies them meticulously, observing the attitudes, postures and facial expressions of these oblivious, anonymous actors. These are ordinary, everyday scenes, in which the characters are simply living their day-to-day lives, without posing in any way. The artist isn’t even noticed and never crosses the boundaries of the personal sphere.”
The exhibition catalogue will be available for the opening on Saturday July 21 at 6 p.m. Exhibition’s catalogue is available: Browse it online!
We will be glad to welcome You,

iScultpture Gallery is pleased to announce that an imprtant selection of works by Herman Josef Runggaldier and Giorgio Conta will be at the exhibition Legno | Lën | Holz, which will be held at MART.
With centuries of history behind it and growing interest from critics and art lovers, wooden sculpture is an independent and original form of contemporary art. Particularly distinguished among its practitioners are the artists in Val Gardena, in the heart of the Dolomites. They represent a school unrivalled in Europe for the number and quality of its artist-sculptors. Their genius and capacity for innovation has brought unexpected development to a rich, longstanding tradition, introducing contemporary idioms of artistic expression as they set out on new paths of aesthetic and formal exploration.
An itinerary of works relating to the theme of the human body, the exhibition titled Legno | Lën | Holz includes a selection of over forty works by Livio Conta, Giorgio Conta, Fabiano de Martin Topranin, Aron Demetz, Gerard Demetz, Peter Demetz, Arnold Holzknecht, Walter Moroder, Herman Josef Runggaldier, Andreas Senoner, Peter Senoner, Matthias Sieff, Adolf Vallazza, Willy Verginer and Bruno Walpoth.

Sculptures for a Scenery of Art is the result of a collaboration between Hotel Castello di Casole and iSculpture Gallery, San Gimignano & Casole d’Elsa. Our aim is to pay homage to a landscape that is a work of art itself for its beauty and tradition, through a course of six contemporary art installations by six different Italian artists: Patrick Alò, Davide Dall’Osso, Mariano Fuga, Ivan Lardschneider, Gerald Moroder, Sergio Rubini… More information and pictures are available on our website.
We hope that you will enjoy!
